Popular action for the violation of informational balance in the public media system

The popular action seeks the protection of collective rights to freedom of expression and of the press in their collective dimension, to access to plural, accurate, and impartial information, to administrative morality, to the efficient provision of the public television and radio service, and to the protection of public patrimony, in response to practices that compromise editorial independence, balance, and media pluralism at RTVC, including the departure of journalistic staff under editorial pressure, the adoption of an informational approach aligned with the Government's official discourse, the exclusion of critical and independent voices, and the use of language incompatible with journalistic impartiality.
