Lawsuit admitted against the Government for the humanitarian crisis in Norte de Santander

More than 84,000 persons have been displaced and an uncontrolled escalation of violence led the Foundation for the Rule of Law to file suit against the national Government for omissions in security matters and for its failure to protect the population in this region of the country. The Administrative Tribunal of Norte de Santander admitted the lawsuit and opened proceedings to review the State's response to the security crisis in the region.
