Popular action for the defense of energy security and sovereignty

The popular action seeks the protection of collective rights and interests in the rational management and use of natural resources, access to public energy and gas services, administrative morality, protection of public patrimony, and the rights of consumers and users, in the face of the imminent risk of loss of energy sovereignty, given the national Government's decisions — among others, not to enter into new hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation contracts, the limited or nonexistent results of the plan to reactivate suspended contracts, and other factors jeopardizing public finances and energy security.
