Annulment action against Resolution 64 of 2024 recognizing the Segunda Marquetalia as an illegal armed group

Resolution 64 of 2024 issued by the President of the Republic recognizes the Segunda Marquetalia as an illegal armed group in order to initiate a new peace process. However, this decision contravenes the Constitution and Law 2272 of 2022, given that many of its members signed the 2016 Peace Agreement with the FARC-EP and subsequently took up arms again. The procedure applicable to this group is the submission process known as "approaches and conversations," not the political dialogue known as "negotiations."
