We renew our call to defend the 1991 Constitution

The Foundation for the Rule of Law reiterates its rejection of recent proposals by leaders of the opposition party to convene a National Constituent Assembly to restore presidential reelection and tailor institutions to their interests. It also rejects recent calls to shut down Congress.
