Justice halts the politicization of official State social media: Tribunal orders the Colombian Geological Survey to stop using its accounts for government propaganda

The Administrative Tribunal of Cundinamarca found that the Colombian Geological Survey (SGC) failed to comply with Law 1474 of 2011 by using its official social media accounts to disseminate political messages, replicate content unrelated to its functions, and call for mobilizations in support of President Gustavo Petro's Government. The Tribunal ordered the entity to refrain from repeating such conduct and to align its institutional communications with the principles of neutrality and legality.
