Administrative Tribunal admits popular action to protect the rights to public security and peace of the inhabitants of Valle del Cauca

The Administrative Tribunal of Valle del Cauca admitted the popular action filed by the Foundation for the Rule of Law (FEDe. Colombia) against the President of the Republic, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of the Interior. The lawsuit seeks to protect the collective rights to peace, public security, administrative morality, and the use of public space and assets of the inhabitants of Valle del Cauca, violated as a result of the intensification of the armed conflict.
