On May 15, 2024, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MADS) issued Resolution 421, immediately suspending the interventions of the Bogotá Mayor's Office at three of the capital's wetlands (Juan Amarillo, Córdoba, and Jaboque) on the basis of the precautionary principle.
