The Agrarian Jurisdiction Bill violates the Constitution and generates risks for private property rights, due process, and legal certainty

Bill S-183 of 2024, the purpose of which is to determine the competence and functioning of the Agrarian and Rural Jurisdiction and to establish the principles governing judicial proceedings in agrarian and rural justice, was filed before the First Committee of the Senate on August 27, 2024, by the Ministers of Agriculture, Justice, and the Interior.
