Law 2494 of 2025 establishes rules on the preparation, publication and dissemination of opinion polls. The law suffers from an incurable procedural defect because it disregards the requirement that the matter be regulated by statutory law (ley estatutaria). It also violates the guarantee of freedom of expression and the principle of no censorship, citizen deliberation and equality in political participation.
