Individual bulletin: Reform of the law on intelligence and counterintelligence activities

This bulletin analyzes Statutory Bill S-225 of 2024, which seeks to strengthen the oversight and supervision mechanisms for intelligence and counterintelligence activities. The bill strengthens the principles of constitutional government and the separation of powers, as well as good governance and transparency. However, certain provisions may prove contrary to individual freedoms.
