Action against Resolution 421 of 2024 prohibiting the advancement of infrastructure works on the Juan Amarillo, Jaboque, and Córdoba wetlands in Bogotá D.C.

The Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, through Resolution 421 of 2024, prohibited the advancement of already consolidated infrastructure works on wetlands, disregarding the competencies of local authorities, as well as modifications to contracts entered into by the Bogotá Water Utility. The administrative act is therefore unlawful, having been issued without competency and without sufficient reasoning.
