Annulment action against Decree 234 of 2026 on collective bargaining in the private sector

Decree 234 of 2026 regulated a model of unified, multi-level collective bargaining in the private sector and for official workers. However, the decree exceeds the regulatory power and encroaches on matters reserved to statute, violates freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining, disregards the rules of the Labor Code, affects economic freedom and replaces by regulation a scheme that was rejected during the legislative process of the labor reform.
