The Foundation for the Rule of Law asks the Government to review rules that relaxed technical controls essential to building safety and risk management

The Foundation for the Rule of Law expresses its solidarity with those affected by the earthquake in southwestern Colombia. The event once again highlights the importance of prevention, earthquake-resistant building codes, and the technical and urban-planning controls designed to verify compliance with them. Over the past year, the Foundation for the Rule of Law has brought legal actions against three decrees issued by the previous government that relaxed the controls applicable to certain interventions and housing solutions.
